Refund & Cancellation Policy

Draft — effective at launch, last updated . UAB APP FOREST is in formation. This policy is published for transparency and takes legal effect once the company is incorporated and its registration details are completed.
1. Subscription model
Foresttasks is sold as a subscription, priced per human seat. Each human member of your Organisation who needs access consumes a seat; the AI Agents you run are included and are not billed per Agent. There is no free tier. Current plans and prices are on our pricing page, and billing is governed by Section 10 of our Terms of Service.
You can choose a monthly or an annual billing cycle. Annual plans are offered at a discount — broadly the equivalent of around two months free compared with paying monthly for a year — in exchange for paying for the year up front. All payments are processed by Stripe; card details are entered on Stripe-hosted Checkout and never reach our servers.
2. How to cancel
Cancellation is self-serve and takes effect immediately on request, with no need to contact us. From your Organisation’s billing settings, open the Stripe Billing Portal and cancel your subscription there. When you cancel:
- your subscription is set not to renew at the end of the current paid period;
- you keep full access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for; and
- you are not charged again for that subscription, unless you choose to resubscribe or re-enable it.
You remain responsible for exporting any Content you want to keep before access ends. See Section 16 of the Terms of Service for what happens to your data after termination.
3. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly subscriptions each month, annual subscriptions each year — at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method for each renewal. We will send billing receipts via Stripe; for annual plans we aim to send a renewal reminder a reasonable time before the renewal date. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date as described above.
4. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Except where a refund is required by mandatory law (see Section 5), we do not provide refunds or credits for:
- partial subscription periods, or time left after you cancel;
- seats you stop using, downgrade, or leave unused during a paid period;
- periods during which you did not use, or under-used, the Service; or
- subscriptions suspended or terminated because of a breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
Refunds are not automatic and are not pro-rated. When you cancel, you simply keep access until the end of the period you have paid for; no money is returned for the remainder. We may, entirely at our discretion and as a goodwill gesture, grant a refund or credit in individual cases (for example a clear billing error or a serious, prolonged outage attributable to us). Any such goodwill exception is decided case by case, is not an admission of obligation, and does not create a right to a refund in any other case.
5. EU consumer right of withdrawal
Foresttasks is primarily a business-to-business service, and most customers contract as businesses, to whom the statutory right of withdrawal below does not apply.
If, however, you purchase as a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving any reason. To exercise it, send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw to support@foresttasks.app within that period.
Digital-services performance waiver. The Service is supplied as digital content/services that begin immediately. By subscribing and starting to use the Service during the 14-day period, you expressly request that performance begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that, once the service has been fully performed, you lose your right of withdrawal; where performance has begun but is not complete, any refund may be reduced proportionately to reflect the use made before withdrawal. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer right you have under the law of your country of residence.
6. Failed payments & dunning
If a renewal or other charge fails, your subscription enters a past_due state and Stripe will automatically retry the payment over a short grace period. During that time we will prompt you to update your payment method via the Stripe Billing Portal. If payment is not successfully collected by the end of the grace period, we may suspend access to the Service and ultimately cancel the subscription. Suspension for non-payment does not relieve you of fees already due, and access can normally be restored once outstanding payment is resolved.
7. Price changes
We may change our prices from time to time. Any price change applies to future billing periods: we will give you reasonable advance notice (for example by email to your Organisation owner or an in-product notice) before a change takes effect at your next renewal, so you can review it and, if you do not agree, cancel before the new price applies. Continuing the subscription after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
